Phase II
This Subteam is in the second year of the competition submission process. Over the course of the year, the team will work on finalizing its project design, developing a prototype, and conducting sufficient testing. Testing and prototyping includes working in multiple labs throughout the year in order to go through the multiple iterations of the project. The team will also compile a thorough economic analysis of its final project. By the end of the Spring semester, this team will have developed a moderately functional prototype and will submit their completed 10-page report and 3-minute video to the VentureWell DEBUT competition!
Phase 2A
Manny is a senior from Baldwin, Maryland majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. Outside of DEBUT, Manny is a member of the de Vlaminck lab and works as a TA. In the future, he hopes to get a PhD in computational biology, with a focus on machine learning systems and cancer genomics.

In the future, Patricia hopes to work in vaccine development primarily for cancer and pediatric use.
